Irate mob attacked a man for allegedly killing a cow that was found with missing body parts in Kuresoi South Sub-county.

They say the man and a few others had a squabble with the owner of the cow just for it to be discovered dead the following day.

Addressing Chamgei FM, the locals accused the man for attempting to impart fear in them through black magic practices.

Officers from Kamwaura Police Post who landed at the scene saved the man from the furious crowd that was baying for his blood.

The suspect is currently in custody as police continue searching for other suspects.
