AFC Leopards season opener against Sharks pushed forward

The 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match between AFC Leopards versus Kariobangi Sharks has been pushed forward.

The match was at first set to be played on Saturday, December 8, but KPL has affirmed that it will now be played on Sunday, December 9 at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Kariobangi Sharks asked for KPL to reschedule the match to Sunday because they will be away in Djibouti for a CAF Confederation Cup tie against Arta Solar7 FC on Wednesday, December 5.

They will be back in the nation on Thursday evening.

They will rest on Friday and resume preparations on Saturday.
