The leader for Amani National Congress Musalia Mudavadi has refuted claims of him supporting someone else for presidency.
While addressing the press today, Mudavadi said that his time has now come expressing confidence that he is the hope that Kenyans are looking for.
“I’m in this to the end. I have a clear plan to sail Kenyans to socio-economic prosperity. Anyone who thinks otherwise is day dreaming,” said Mudavadi.
Some days before, President Uhuru Kenyatta urged the co-principals of One Kenya Alliance (OKA)consisting of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Mudavadi, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula and Kanu’s Gideon Moi to support ODM leader Raila Odinga in the upcoming presidential election.
However, the OKA team have rescheduled to meet in Naivasha next week to discuss on Uhuru’s suggestions after suspending the earlier planned meeting in favour of Kalonzo, who is in Turkey.
At the same time, Mudavadi criticized the current government on its socio-economic development plan saying it has dearly costed households, pointing out that Uhuru’s government tax and debt policies is a burden to Kenyans.
”This regime has taxed households to poverty and seen many businesses close. The public debt is out of control. This must be corrected. I believe I have the capabilities, ‘said ANC party leader.
